Job descriptions

Translators
In charge of translating TVXQ Videos. Korean / Japanese / Chinese Translators should be both fluent in Korean/Japanese/Chinese and English and can read written Korean/Japanese/Chinese. He or she can view or can download TVXQ videos at any time.

Editors
In charge of examining, correcting, rewording and rewriting a translated script from a translator without changing the original meaning of the sentence so that the dialogue is intelligible to viewers.

Timers
In charge of timing the edited translations to the RAW video.

Quality Checkers
In charge of checking the edited & timed translations to ensure that there are no more flaws in the final softsubs. Quality Checkers should know how to adjust timings and is fluent in English.

Uploaders
In charge of uploading raws and subbed videos in different alternate links, torrent or clubbox.

Web Designers
In charge of creating or coding the communities of the subbing team.

The application form is the basis of the team if whether you will be able to proceed to the second part of the application. Therefore, YOU MUST FILL UP THE WHOLE THING. The second part is you will be given a translating, timing, editing and qc test (depending on what position you applied for). As soon as the administrator reviews your application form and if you have provided relevant information, the admin will PM you the test. Results of the test will be PM-ed 2 or 3 days after.

7. The screentexts in the drama basically explains how it is in modern times. Some of the screentexts were not translated by our team because the translations of the dialogues are understandable.

[ANNOUNCEMENT] Beautiful Love Release

Hello everyone!

If you guys are wondering why I haven't made any announcement yet regarding the release of English subbed episodes of Beautiful Love (Yuchun's Japanese Drama) it is because we are still waiting for the raws to check if it is decent enough to be used for subbing.

These BeeTV dramas are not like the normal Japanese dramas which takes around 45 mins to an hour. BeeTV dramas are normally very short, maybe around 15-20mins (not yet sure) and as you know, it'll only be shown on mobile phones thus, making it harder to be ripped. But then again, TVXQ fans are very resourceful and they would do anything just to be able to get good rips of this drama, so let's just wait until it airs on the 4th.

For the meantime, we have managed to get good rips of the preview and the making of the drama so here you are:

SUNAO NI NARENAKUTE UPDATES

We have decided that we will release two versions of the hardsubbed and softsubs. One in HD and one in SD.

HD Release Specs: 1280 x 720 h264
SD Release Specs: 704 x 396 XviD or h264

The first softsub release will be synched to the HD h264 or XviD video which is the first one to be released online. And then as soon as someone from d-addicts or GOE;SS resynchs it to the SD version, we will release it right away.

Please don't mistake the first release as the unedited softsubs though and the second as the final one. Both releases will be of the same quality and accuracy. Just choose from whichever versions you want and we're all good.

I'm recycling this post to make the SKK post on top of the page.

I'm now opening applications to foreign subbing teams who would like to use english subs for Sungkyunkwan and Scandal. But starting with this drama, and the upcoming TVXQ dramas, I will now limit the approval of subbing teams. This is for us to be able to closely monitor who is using our subtitles and who are the ones following the rules.

Only 2 subbing teams per language / dialect.

As you all know, Jaejoong / Jejung's Japanese Drama has now been confirmed. He will be one of the main cast of the drama, Sunao Ni Narenakute which will air on April.

Since we are a DBSK/THSK subbing team, of course we will sub the drama (Sunao Ni Narenakute) alongside Changmin's drama, Paradise Ranch which might air on the same month.

Moreover, I would like to formally announce that we will not release Heaven's Postman until it airs in Japan or the DVD has been out. Why? This is to give respect to the actors, actresses, and the staff of the telecinema because it is unfair if we release it online without its official release being finished. Also, we would like to get an HQ copy of the telecinema for pleasurable viewing of the international fans.

Please also wait for my announcement on when I will open applications for foreign subbing teams to translate the upcoming dramas we will sub.
